If you are not fully satisfied with any part of your clean, contact us within 24 hours. We will:

All we ask is the opportunity to fix it before a public review, because fairness matters – to you, to us, and to future customers. If you are still not 100% satisfied, then we will refund your cleaning fee.

Pet-safe Protocols
Please Introduce Us to Your Pets
We’d love to be properly introduced to your furry – or scaly, or feathered – family members with you present. A friendly greeting helps your pets recognize us on future visits and reduces anxiety.
If your pet is calm and welcomes new people, we’ll say hello and offer a gentle pat – never forced and never rushed. If your pet prefers space, we respect that completely.
Please understand that for safety reasons, we cannot service your home if your pet is aggressive or unduly stressed. If ever we need to replace your regular cleaner die to leave or illness, we’ll let you know in advance so you’re never surprised by a new face.
Pet-Safe Products and Procedures
Your pets’ wellbeing is our number one priority.

We use pet-safe cleaning products for accessible surfaces. For showers and inaccessible spaces, instead of harsh bleaches, we prefer natural ingredients such as vinegar or bicarbonate of soda and plant-based or enzymatic cleaners.
​
We never use chlorine bleach around animals: for stubborn mold, we use hydrogen peroxide, which quickly (in a well-ventilated room) breaks down into water and oxygen. We ensure that all treated areas are closed off to prevent entry by your pet, or ask that your pet be kept in another room during cleaning and the drying process.

Using high-quality, gentle cleaning products increases our cleaning time and requires more effort, but we believe safety is worth it.
Entry & Exit Precautions
When entering and exiting your home, we always open and close doors carefully to ensure pets do not slip past us. If you have an exterior gate we will close it before opening your front door.
Covering Litter Trays, Toys, Food and Water Bowls
Before cleaning, we:
-
locate all litter trays, toys, food and water bowls, and
-
cover or relocate them to prevent contamination from dust or cleaning sprays
After cleaning, we:
-
refill water bowls
-
refill food bowls only if you provide the food and request it
This ensures your pets always have safe access to clean food and fresh water.
Spot Cleaning for Urine Stains and Odours
We use ultra violet light to locate these little accidents, and enzyme-based products to treat the stain and remove the odour. This is a time-consuming process as the enzymes need 30 minutes or longer to break down the urine, and then they have to be removed by mechanical suction or wiping. Deep-rooted stains and odours may require several treatments over time – we do NOT guarantee complete removal on the first treatment.
Spot treatment is designed for the occasional accident. For persistent urine issues, we recommend a full steam clean for carpets or fabric upholstery.
Pet Hair Removal
Enjoy hair-free floors, carpets, curtains and furniture when you return! Our cleaners are experts in the art of gentle pet hair removal so you don’t have to bother with this onerous chore.
Locking Up Afterwards
At the end of every clean, we:
-
close and lock all doors and windows
-
close shower screens and toilet lids
-
secure garden gates
This prevents pets from accessing wet surfaces, falling into toilets or slipping out of the property. We upload departure photos so you can see everything is safely secured.
On-Site Pet Laundry
If you need pet bedding washed on-site, please ensure your washing machine and dryer are empty. We will locate and wash the bedding at the start of the clean and put the bedding into the dryer. If there is enough time, we will remove it from the dryer, otherwise washed bedding will be left in the dryer.
Poop Removal
Come home to a clean outdoor space! We promise to lock the gate and send you a photo when we’re finished so nobody runs out.
Attention to Detail and Hygiene
Before setting foot in your home, our cleaners are rigorously trained so that you get the highest-quality clean. To protect your pets and prevent cross-contamination between households, our cleaners:

wear disposable shoe covers when appropriate
-
disinfect equipment before every clean
-
follow specific protocols for bowl areas, toys and bedding
-
never ruse cloths between bathrooms and living spaces
Every step is designed to keep your home clean – and your pets safe, relaxed and cared for.
Noise Awareness
We are mindful of noise, especially around anxious pets. Where possible, we begin vacuuming in another room so pets are not startled, and we communicate calmly with them if sudden noises are unavoidable.
Scent Sensitivity
We avoid strong artificial fragrances and use only low-scent, natural pet-safe solutions. If your pet has known sensitivities, please let us know so we can tailor our product choice further.
Toys and Enrichment Items
These matter emotionally to pets, so we never dispose of toys, blankets pr enrichment items, even if they appear worn or dirty. If you’d like a toy replaced or thrown away, just leave a note or mention it during booking.
Temperature and Airflow
We do not adjust air conditioning, heating or open windows if pets (especially birds, reptiles and small mammals) could be affected by temperature changes or there is the risk of escape.
Creating a “Safe Room”
Some pets may feel safer in one room while we clean. If you’d like us to set up a room with their bed, clean water and toys before starting. Just tell us – we’re happy to do so.
Handling Unexpected Events
If a pet becomes distressed, unwell or aggressive during cleaning, we will pause immediately and contact you. Your pet’s wellbeing takes priority over completing the clean.
First Aid Boundaries
For safety and insurance reasons, we cannot physically administer medication or first aid to pets. However, we will stay with your pet until you or your nominated contact can attend in an emergency.
Emergencies – if Owner Cannot be Reached
If we cannot reach you, we will follow your nominated emergency instructions and contact your vet / family member / neighbour / etc. Please provide this information during booking and prior to our first clean.
